Rick hosts/performs at 10th Glenn Gould Prize

After playing Gould in the Glenn Gould Variations in 2012, Rick was delighted to host and perform at the 10th Glenn Gould Prize at Rideau Hall, honouring his colleague, mentor and friend Robert Lepage.

On March 31st 2014, the prestigious prize was handed to Robert by His Excellency David Johnston, Governor General of Canada, at a star-studded ceremony at the GG's residence Rideau Hall. Besides Rick's live-dubbed montage/roast of Robert's cinematic oeuvre, there were stunning performances by tenor Jay Hunter Morris, singer Beatrice Bonifassi, composer Pierre Lapointe, dancer Guillaume Côté, and members of KÀ by Cirque du Soleil.

The Glenn Gould Prize is awarded to an individual for a unique lifetime contribution that has enriched the human condition through the arts. For more info, please visit The Glenn Gould Foundation.
